Sophisticated Jazz Quartet with the fabulous vocals of Suzanne Mellard

Suzanne Mellard has a unique voice among her contemporaries and has many influences from Sarah Vaughan and Betty Carter through to Mark Murphy and Kurt Elling.

Having performed with many well respected names in the genre including, Dave O’Higgins, Bill Watrous, Dave Newton, Brian Dee and Darius Brubeck. They all have one thing to say…. ‘Suzanne…. You have a Great Voice!’

Suzanne’s Dynamic voice encompasses many varied styles and shows her wide range of influences, from Soul and Blues through to Contemporary Jazz and Fusion.

Darius Brubeck … ’The ideal jazz voice...Intimate and rich in the low range, with great control in all registers’

"One of the most talented but too rarely heard Jazz Vocalists in the UK" … Jazz UK Magazine

The whole concert was a huge triumph for those of us who heard them perform for the first time and I recommend that you make every effort to catch them, and see them live whenever you have the opportunity, as Suzanne Mellard is a name to watch out for. I guarantee that any Jazz Lover will not be disappointed.
